Being conscientious about our social responsibility, the members of the EMU Bookstore staff work as a team, with patience and perseverance, and do not hesitate to make sacrifices to ensure that the EMU Bookstore ably serves individuals and institutions alike. The EMU Bookstore considers it as its mission to speedily and accurately provide EMU faculty members and students, as well as other universities and institutions, with all the printed materials they require, as well as sell university promotional materials.

• Providing all instructors with any and all books and other printed materials they require, in accordance with the orders placed by each academic department chair at Eastern Mediterranean University;

• Meeting all book and other printed material requirements for all students accurately, on time, and in full, in accordance with the orders placed by each academic department chair at Eastern Mediterranean University;

• Selling all original publications of Eastern Mediterranean University, in accordance with the relevant units' wishes and directives;

• Providing and/or selling graduation gowns for students and faculty for the graduation ceremony at the end of each term;

• Purchasing, and subsequently selling, all books ordered by institutions and universities other than EMU, provided that a guarantee of payment has been secured;

• Determining the best possible retail prices for students, based on market and competition conditions;

• Determining, purchasing, and subsequently selling all materials to be sold at Eastern Mediterranean University as a whole.
